This policy explains what personal data Altnera collects through altnera.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to visitors and to people who contact us through the site.

Who we are

Altnera is a product engineering practice based in Tallinn, Eesti, and is the data controller for personal data submitted through altnera.com. For any privacy matter, contact hello@altnera.com.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we process the information you choose to provide:

  • Your name and email address (required in order to respond to you).
  • Your company website and project description, if you provide them.
  • Your IP address and submission time, used only for spam prevention and rate limiting.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

We process your contact details to respond to your inquiry and to take steps at your request prior to a potential engagement. This relies on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and, where relevant, on taking pre-contractual steps. We process IP address and timing data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and free of abuse.

How it is handled

Inquiries submitted through the form are delivered to us by email through a reputable transactional email provider acting as our processor. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We apply the access and confidentiality controls described in our Confidentiality & Data Protection document.

Retention

We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to evaluate and, where applicable, pursue an engagement, and thereafter only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected, or have your data erased.
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
